Chapter 1: Mysterious Savior

Muné looked at her savior’s face. He seemed so calm even after killing 12 guards. The man sheathed his sword and held out his hand. His glowing green eyes stared into her blue ones, holding some kind of power over her. She couldn’t understand why he would help her, a run away slave. Muné looked at his hand with uncertainty and hesitantly took it. He pulled her to her feet, her dirty looking blue hair dragging off the ground and moving slightly due to the light breeze. The breeze only ruffled his short black hair.
"Why did you help me?” she asked. “Don’t you know what I am?” Muné held up both of her wrists to show her broken shackles, the chains attached making clinking noises. The man half smiled as he broke the useless shackles off her wrists. He then pulled something out of his trench coat pocket and quickly placed whatever it was around her neck. She jerked back a bit but not far due to her injured ankle.
“What the hell…” The man pressed his lips against hers firmly, cutting her off from finishing her sentence. He then pulled away with a grin.
“You’ll see.” Those where his last words before he disappeared. Before Muné had time to think of what he said, something had drained her of her energy and fell to the ground unconscious.

Muné woke up about a day later and sat up with a groan. She held her head in her hand when she noticed she was wearing black leather gloves. She looked down to see that she was wearing black pants, black boots, and a black corset. Everything was black. Her hair was brown though.
‘Wait…brown?’ Muné ran her fingers through her hair to see that her hair was now a shiny brown instead of an ocean blue. She didn’t really understand what had happened the night before but something was very wrong today. She quickly got off the bed she was on and stumbled to the floor with a load thud. She could still feel that her ankle was still injured. Her heart beat quickened as she looked around. She was in a room filled with many different artifacts and many paintings. Just then a girl walked in looking very happy. She had black and red hair that was everywhere and had green eyes.
“Hi! You must be Muné!! I'm Rec.”
“Wreck? That's a ...... strange name.” Rec shook her head.
“No, it's Rec. Long e. But, it should be Wreck since I wreck everything and love to destroy things. Anyway, I was told to come get you. But now that I'm here, I'm bored! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” she said as she spun around the room singing some random song as she went! Muné stared at her like she was crazy and started to get up off the ground. Rec saw and helped her up.
“How did you know my name Rec?” Muné asked once up.
“Master Lance told me......Your eyes are weird. One's blue and one's green. Cool!!!!” Rec squealed. Muné winced a bit and smiled half what.
“You're very loud... Can't you be a little bit quieter?” Rec shook her head and grinned widely.
“Nope. Get used to it. Anyway we have to go! Go is a funny word! It's only two letters! G and O! And it means to go! Hmm...that doesn't really make any sense but allwell!”
“Don't we have to go?” Muné asked.
       “Oh yeah!”
       “You lose track very easily!”
“Huh what are we talking about? We need to leave!” Muné slapped her forehead and followed Rec out the door. Once out the door,  Muné gasped at how big it was inside. Rec just skipped down the cat walk as she gaped at the inside. Rec turned around and put her hands on her hips.
“Come on! Master Lance doesn't like waiting, even though I make him wait a lot.” she said. Muné snapped out of her state and quickly caught up to the hyper girl.
'Master? I though I had gotten away from that. I guess I was wrong.' Muné thought. She looked at Rec and smiled. Something about her made people want to smile. That's what she thought anyway.
Rec and Muné walked down the stairs when Rec came to a sudden stop, making Mune run into her.
“Ow…what’s with the sudden stop Rec?” Muné asked. Rec spun around to face her with a sly grin.
“Because, I can’t go in. You have to though!” Rec opened a door then got behind Muné and pushed her through, also closing the door quickly behind her. Rec smiled then skipped away happily.
Muné tried opening the door, but the knob just wouldn’t turn.
“Welcome Muné. Glad to see you’re awake.” Mune turned toward the center of the room to see a man sitting in a chair, grinning. He had blondish-brown hair with gloomy looking blue eyes and was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and black boots. He somewhat reminded her of her old master, which made her to shudder.
‘Don’t think about him Muné. Think about something else.’ The voice inside her head told her. She nodded her head and looked up to the man.
“Who are you and why am I here?” Muné asked straight-forwardly. The man looked shocked and got up.
“Well, you do talk. Not very nicely, but none the less. I am Lance Vertique and why you are here my dear, is because I own you. One of my servants found you and I decided to take you in. You should be grateful.” Muné wanted to say something sarcastic, but kept herself from doing so. Instead, she decided that she would play along for now. She bowed her head politely and said, “Thank you Master.” Oh how she hated that word. Lance smiled and placed his hand under her chin, raising her head so that he could see her eyes.
“You will do perfectly here. Now go see Rec and tell her to take you to Sage.” After he said that, he was gone. Muné glared at nothing as she walked out the door. She retraced her steps up the stairs and into the room she was in to see the bouncy, hyper girl. A small smile appeared on Muné’s face as she entered.
“Um…Rec? Who’s Sage?” Muné asked in a curious tone. Rec stopped her singing and smiled.
“Oh, he’s….um….” Rec put her hand under her chin, looking like she was thinking.
“Who is he really?” she asked herself. Muné slapped her forehead and sighed.
“Oh God. Maybe she should have been a blonde.” She told herself.
“Oh yeah!! The other person I love to annoy. Lets go!” Rec grabbed Muné’s hand and ran out of the room and downs the stairs. Rec made a sudden stop to open a really big door and ran past it to be outside.
“Why are we running?” Muné asked/yelled. Rec shrugged her shoulders.
“I don’t know!” a few minutes later, the two girls stopped in front of a barn house. Rec disappeared, but Muné could hear her yelling.
“SAGE!? WHERE ARE YOU?” she yelled. Muné walked into the barn to see many stalls with horses in them and saw Rec standing in the middle of the barn house.
       “Wreck, shut up.”
“It’s not Wreck, it’s Rec! Like Reese’s pieces. Gosh, why is everyone forgetting my name all of a sudden?” Right then a man walked out from one of the horses stalls and stood in front of Rec. Muné’s eyes widened when the man looked at her.
       ‘It’s him!’
This story is about a girl who's a slave, falling in love with another slave, like herself. He had saved her from being killed when her old master had sent his guards out to kill her. This is just a story that came from the back of my mind. It's not done of course.
